Deskripsi

TUBEX merupakan alat diagnostik demam tifoid yang diperoduksi oleh IDL Biotech, Sollentuna, Sweden.
Tes ini sangat cepat 5-10 min, simpel, dan akurat.
Tes TUBEX ini menggunakan sistem pemeriksaan yang unik dimana tes ini mendeteksi serum antibody immunoglobulin M (Ig M) terhadap antigen O9 (LPS) yang sangat spesifik terhadap bakteri salmonella typhi.
Metode dari tes TUBEX ini adalah mendeteksi antibody melalui kemampuannya untuk memblok ikatan antara reagent monoclonal anti-O9 s.typhi (antibody-coated indicator particle) dengan reagent antigen O9 s.typhi (antigen-coated magnetic particle) sehingga terjadi pengendapan dan pada akhirnya tidak terjadi perubahan warna.

TUBEX Typhoid Rapid Test is a 10 minute semi-quantitative colorimetric test that detects current typhoid infection based on the easy identification of S. typi anti-09 IgM antibodies.
